We Are Beginning to Gather

Something is beginning to happen.

Over the past few weeks, meditation teachers, mindfulness guides, and contributors from around the world have started to come onboard for IAMday. Each person brings something different. A practice, a perspective, a way of helping people return to themselves. What is beautiful is that no two offerings are the same, and yet they all point in the same direction. Back to presence. Back to awareness. Back to what matters.

It feels especially important right now.

The world is moving quickly. Faster than many of us can fully process. There is a lot of noise, a lot of change, and for many people, a quiet sense that they need a place to pause. A place to breathe. A place to remember that they are not alone in what they are feeling or carrying.

This is why IAMday exists.

IAMday is a global online meditation and mindfulness event held once a year. It is a free event where teachers and participants from around the world come together for a full day of live sessions focused on presence, reflection, rest, healing, and awareness.

Many of the teachers who participate are Insight Timer teachers, along with authors, coaches, therapists, and guides who want to offer something meaningful to the world for one day.

IAMday was never meant to be just another online event. It is a day where we set aside competition, promotion, and urgency. Instead, we create a shared space. A global pause. For one day, we come together as one community.

It is not about one teacher or one method.
It is about the idea that, for one day, we remember that we belong to each other.

And maybe that is what is needed most right now. Not more noise, but more spaces where people can slow down enough to hear their own life again.

If you would like to stay connected between now and IAMday, I write a short daily reflection called Awakening Currents. Many people read it in the early morning before the day begins asking anything of them. It is simple, quiet, and only takes a minute to read.

Before the day begins asking anything of you
pause here
three breaths

That is where we begin.

Between now and IAMday, that is how we will walk together. One breath, one morning, one small moment of presence at a time.

We are very glad you are here.
